We are doing it! We are crossing the bridge – the Verazzano Bridge that is. We are packing up our life here in Brooklyn and moving over the bridge and 20 minutes away to Staten Island. While it is not too far of a distance, it is a whole different world. Staten Island is more suburban than Brooklyn with quieter neighborhoods and parking lots! Oh how I am thrilled to not have to continually look for parking! While I am excited to start the next chapter of our life, I am mourning the ending of this one. This was our first place together. We got married while living here. We brought our daughter home to this house from the hospital. We have so many wonderful memories here but we are ready to make new and beautiful memories in our new home.
