Kansas City – Heart of America

Kansas City – the city of many nicknames and each more accurate than the next. The Heart of America is my personal preference. This nickname was originally given to describe the location of Kansas being smack in the middle of the country, in the heart of America. For me, this slogan surpasses its origination. When compared to bigger cities in America, Kansas City is underestimated. This city embodies rich community feels, deep history, thriving art and cool jazz districts. Oh and the BBQ – we can not forget the BBQ!

I have had the pleasure of exploring this city many times, each more enjoyable than the last. Kansas City is an ideal destination with children. With so many options to choose from, you will never run out of adventures. I have compiled some of my favorite attractions and dining options. Feel free to add any additions in the the comments. 💛
